I am so thankful to be spending so much time outside this summer. Beautiful weather, great opportunities, fabulous smells. God has left us messages of hope and lessons for living all over in the natural world. Meaning, that camp is one of those perfect opportunities to learn about God. YAY! And for the rest of you, get outside today, and look at something that is alive for awhile. I’m sure you will learn something from it.
Make a difference Monday: Camp. I have never worked at a summer camp, though I have often wanted too. I have also never worked as a lifeguard, though I always thought it would be interesting to take the training and try it out. This summer, I was directed to speak with a camp director who was still really looking for a specific staff member: a lifeguard. So, I took the job and the training, and I am making a difference by filling the need I saw. Today, try to make a difference by remembering the simple saying : ”see a need, fill a need”. Have a wonderful day.
Song for Sunday: Everything, by Lifehouse. Camp makes me think of skits, and I remember that the first time I saw this skit performed, I cried. As I am going to be at camp when you lovely followers view this post (it has been in my Que) , I thought it fitting to choose a song and skit combination. Have a beautiful day.
Song for Sunday: Blessed be Your name by Matt Redman. For one, I love this song, and for Two, it’s a campish song. For both of these reasons I’m posting it today. Also, today is the day I go to work at camp for my first summer ever. I don’t believe I will have Internet there, and if I do, it will be sketch, so there are some posts in my que and I will play it by ear. Have a fabulous day.
