When Martin Luther dared to disagree with the known church at the time, he said plainly: "Unless I am convinced by proofs from Scriptures or by plain and clear reasons and arguments, I can and will not retract, for it is neither safe nor wise to do anything against conscience. Here I stand. I can do no other. God help me. Amen." Following convictions can be hard to do, "with Christ, all things are possible". I pray that I'm standing today.

Write someone some mail today. Postcard, card, letter, some sort of package. It seems like a small thing but you know you love getting mail every now and again. As a Christian, I believe small handwritten pieces of encouragement are some of the most powerful because words on paper are more permanent. How would Christianity be today if God’s word passed by word of mouth from one generation to the next all the way up till now? It is harder to forget encouragement when it comes by post.
